The perfect bacon chicken recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken breast
  • 400 g sliced bacon
  • 250 g grated cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 6 tbsp sour cream
  • salt, pepper and parsley to taste, a little cooking oil and some breadcrumbs

Steps:

  1. Cut the chicken breast fillets into large cubes. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Beat the eggs with salt and pepper. Add the flour and finely chopped parsley. Mix the mixture until it is homogeneous and lump-free, then whisk in the sour cream. Mix this mixture with the chicken cubes and grated cheese.
  3. Grease or oil a “kuglof” or other larger cake tin. Line the sides of the tin with slices of bacon. Leave the ends of the bacon sticking out of the tin. Fill the baking tin with the chicken mixture and fold the bacon slices over the top.
  4. Bake at 170°C (340°F) for 50 minutes. Turn out suddenly onto a baking sheet and remove the tin. Bake for a further 20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy. Slice and serve with your favorite side dish. Enjoy your meal!
